COACHING & REFEREEING GUIDELINES
At all Grades: if the game starts late, the length of playing time must be reduced to finish on time to allow the next game to start on time.
7th and 8th Grade
5 a side
Coaches can assist their players with verbal encouragement from a position in their defensive half.
Half Junior Field
Small White goal
Approved size 3 ball
No goal keeper
20 min halves with 5 min break
Rolling subs
Goal kicks taken from alongside the goal
Opponents retire to half way for goal kicks
Corner kicks as per normal corner kicks
All opposition must be 5 mtrs from the ball for corners and free kicks
No offside, but do not encourage poaching
Goals can only be scored from attacking half
Goals cannot be scored direct from a throw in/pass in
Restart at centre for goals and half time
Focus on the basic, simplest and important rules to be followed
9th Grade
7 a side including keeper
