Paul Blackham and Dave Howarth-Wilson have been taking these sessions, with the support of Ben Wright, Futsal Development Officer from Nelson Bays Football.

The focus of these sessions is on providing maximum ‘time on the ball’ during the summer season, giving you the freedom to enjoy an open session and to develop your skills.

There were two groups:
players age         9-11 at 4 - 5 pm
players age        12-14 at 5 - 6 pm

We have secured Kiwisport funding to cover most of the costs for the next two terms. This means we are able to offer Futsal at the great price of $15 per player for an 8 week term.
Places are limited and it’s first in first served, so please register now and make your payment to secure your place.

World superstars such as Pele, Zico, Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fabregas and Lionel Messi have all acknowledged the role Futsal has played in their football development.

Futsal combines fun, creativity, speed, technique, teamwork, quick thinking.
It actively promotes:
  • individual ball skills, close control and dribbling
  • creativity and improvisation
  • maintenance of ball possession
  • one-touch passing (along the ground)
  • accurate shooting
  • teamwork
  • off the ball movement
Come along and enjoy this new sport in Motueka, meet some new people and develop your skills.
