Team play
We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our team. Please click on the roles below to get an idea of the various roles (these are guidelines only). For most roles you simply need to be interested in supporting our young players and the Club, the rest will follow and you'll be "trained on the job".
All roles should need no more than an average of two hours a week. Some jobs need more work but only at the start or end of the season such as registrations or gear co-ordinator, and others need a little each week over the playing season such as results co-ordinator. Pre-season organising starts each year in February/March, then the playing season runs April-August, and we finish with Prize giving and tidying up the gear in September. Ideally everyone should aim to be able to attend a Committee Meeting once a month from February (or send a short report from their role if they cannot). Some roles can be shared between two persons. Currently we are looking for a chairperson who can navigate the MJFC ship through 2016 with the support of a great and enthusiastic team.
